Refund policy

We offer a 30-day return policy, which allows you to request a return within 30 days of receiving your item.

To qualify for a return, your item must be in its original condition—unworn or unused, with tags attached, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need to provide the receipt or proof of purchase.

Once your return is approved, we’ll provide you with a return shipping label and detailed instructions on how to send your package. Please note that items returned without prior authorization will not be accepted.

Damages and Issues

We kindly ask that you inspect your order upon delivery. If your item arrives defective, damaged, or incorrect, please contact us immediately so we can address the issue and make things right. In cases of defective or damaged items, we will cover the return shipping costs.

Return Shipping Costs

  • For defective, damaged, or incorrect items, we will cover the cost of return shipping.
  • For all other returns, customers are responsible for return shipping costs.

Exceptions and Non-Returnable Items

Certain items are not eligible for returns, including:

  • Perishable goods (e.g., food, flowers, or plants).
  • Custom or personalized products (e.g., special orders).
  • Digital products (e.g., downloads or software).
  • Personal care items (e.g., beauty products).
  • Hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases.

Additionally, we do not accept returns on sale items or gift cards.

Exchanges

The quickest way to get a replacement item is to return the original. Once your return is approved, you can place a separate order for the new item. Customers are responsible for the cost of return shipping and the shipping cost of the new item.

European Union 14-Day Cooling-Off Period

For customers in the European Union, you are entitled to cancel or return your order within 14 days for any reason, without needing to provide a justification. To qualify, your item must be in the same condition as when you received it—unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. A receipt or proof of purchase will also be required.

Refunds

Once we’ve received and inspected your returned item, we will notify you whether your refund has been approved. If approved, your refund will be processed to your original payment method within 10 business days.

Please note:

  • It may take additional time for your bank or credit card provider to process and post the refund.
  • If more than 15 business days have passed since your refund was approved and you have not received it, please contact us at info@prehistoreic.shop.

Dispute Resolution

If you have concerns about your return or refund, please contact us at info@prehistoreic.shop, and we’ll do our best to resolve the issue. If the dispute cannot be resolved through our internal processes, it will be governed by Dutch law, and disputes will be settled in the Netherlands.

Force Majeure

We are not liable for delays in processing returns or refunds caused by circumstances outside of our control, such as natural disasters, strikes, or transportation disruptions.

All personal data collected during the return or refund process will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy. This includes information provided when requesting a return, such as your name, address, and proof of purchase.
